As a Software Developer - Expert, you will be supporting the development and integration of blockchain infrastructure, working closely with cross-functional teams to build secure, reliable, and scalable solutions. • Integrate Schwab systems with existing Layer1 blockchain networks, such as Ethereum-based or other enterprise-relevant blockchains.
• Design and develop core blockchain infrastructure services, including indexers, event processors, and observability tooling.
• Contribute to wallet architecture, transaction workflows, and integration with custody key management systems.
• Support custody-related blockchain workflows, including on-chain transaction execution, event monitoring, and failure recovery.
• Apply modern engineering practices to ensure blockchain services are reliable, testable, and observable, leveraging AI tools for accelerated development.

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with hands-on experience in blockchain or distributed ledger systems.
• Strong understanding of Layer1 blockchain protocols and transaction lifecycle mechanics.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java, Rust, Python, or similar.
• Experience building backend services, APIs, and infrastructure components.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across custody, security, and platform teams.
